Harry Lee Hanson, age 84, passed away November 30, 2017 at Danbury Senior Living Facility in Columbus, Ohio after a lengthy illness. He was a long time resident of Ashland, Ohio. Harry was born on October 11, 1933 in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio to parents Harry Otto Hanson and Pearl Douglass Hanson. Harry was a 1951 Graduate of St. Clairsville High School and then enlisted in the Army from 1953 to 1956 and served in the Special Forces as an Army Ranger. He enjoyed many years of bowling and watching his children’s sports events and community sports and loved his Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.
