Nanci Lee Cummins, 84, of Powell, peacefully passed away at The Kobacker House on Nov. 3, 2018, just 7 days after her husband, Lowell Cummins passed away. Nanci worked at Battelle for 21 years as a Secretary where she met Lowell; they were married for 32 years. After retirement, they shared a love for antiques and had a small business at the Scott’s Antique Market for several years. Nanci was a talented & creative soul her entire life, and created beautiful works of art in flower arranging, cake decorating, baking, needlepoint, knitting, crochet and sewing of all kinds, and frequently participated in arts & crafts festivals with her daughter. Nanci spent much of her life’s passion creating gorgeous patchwork quilts; many of which won ribbons at The Ohio State Fair! Nanci was a very loving and nurturing mother, aunt and grandmother. She had a witty personality and was admired as a sweet and “cool” lady by all who loved and knew her. Nanci is survived by Rick (Sandy) Bisciotti, Cindy (Dennis) Carson, Debbie Sohovich, and grandchildren Jason (Kelly) Bisciotti, Brianne (Mike) Williams, Corey Carson, Dustin Hart (deceased), Lindsey (Jeff) Winland, and great-grandchildren Bella, Graham, Brianne, Lauren, and Caleb. Stepfamily Amy, Chris (deceased), Leigh Cummins, and grandchildren Jordyn, Kevin, Alexandria, Graham, Lily, Lindsey, and great-grandchildren Richie and Graham. Preceded her in death; sister Barbie and brother Steve Schaeffer. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the professionals and volunteers at The Kobacker House.
