Helen Bumgarner

Helen Joyce Bumgarner, 81, went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2021.  Joyce was one of 5 children born to parents Virginia and Raymond Boggs on January 8, 1940. Joyce and John Bumgarner were married in Columbus, Ohio where they raised two sons.  Joyce enjoyed her career working at Riverside Methodist Hospital for over 25 years.  In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and partaking in the many social activities offered at the Barrington of West Chester.  Her family will forever remember Mimi’s pearls of wisdom.

Joyce is survived by sons John (m. Michelle Fiorella), Jason (m. Kay Miller), grandchildren Morgan, Caroline, Ava, and Joseph, sisters Janet Brannon, Sharon Goldhardt, and Betty Maroscher, and a loving extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband John and brother Raymond Keith Boggs.
