Adrian Groves Holliday, 95, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 17, 2025 at Carlisle Manor Nursing Home in Carlisle, Ohio.
Adrian was born to Dwight Groves and Sarah Shrider Groves and was the youngest of three children. She was preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Marcella Groves Crider and Eugene Groves, as well as her husband, Troy S. Holliday, Jr.
A proud graduate of Lancaster High School, Adrian was a majorette in the LHS band and remained a spirited supporter of her alma mater throughout her life. She worked for over 25 years at Ashland Oil Company, where she was respected and admired by colleagues for her dedication and reliability.
Adrian was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, rarely missing a game and always cheering on her team with pride. She also had a passion for gardening, with a special love for roses.
She is survived by her four children: Beverly (Randy) Riffle of Miamisburg, OH; Thomas (Candace) Holliday of Greenwood, SC; Linda (Rocky) Jackson of Lancaster, OH; and Keith Holliday of Lancaster, OH. Adrian was a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adrian’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
A graveside service will be held at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Evan Saunders officiating.
Adrian will be lovingly remembered for her strength, her loyalty to family, and the warmth and grace she brought to every stage of life.
