Alexander Ryan Mayer

Alexander Ryan Mayer passed away suddenly at the age of 35 on Friday, April 14, 2023. He is survived by his father Andrew Mayer and was predeceased by his mother Robin (Chick) Mayer, both of whom loved him more than words can express. He also leaves behind many friends and family members in his hometown of Columbus and beyond.

Alex attended school at Devonshire Elementary and Dublin Coffman Junior/Senior High School. He worked in retail and construction, and in his spare time enjoyed reading and BMX cycling. He was a devoted and loving caregiver to his parents, and will be remembered for his compassion, loyalty and dependability.

A graveside ceremony will take place at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, on Thursday, May 18 at 10 a.m., at the gravesite of his mother Robin Mayer. Donations may be made in Alex’s name to the Epilepsy Foundation or the American Liver Foundation.
