Alice Goodburn

Alice Ann (Reed) Goodburn, age 85, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a long-time associate of the League of Women Voters and active supporter of the ERA and other social issues. Alice is remembered by family and friends as an avid card player, a quick wit, a world traveler and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by husband of 61 years, William H. Goodburn, son George Goodburn, grandson Ryan Goodburn, and brother Jim X Reed. Survived by sister, Joyce Rudy; daughters, Susan (Kurt) Johnson, and Patricia (Rodney) Burkett; sons, Stan (Laverne), John (Margaret), Charles (Kim), and Frank (Lee) Goodburn; grandchildren, Dwight, Derek, Courtney, Maggie, Travis, Natalie, William, Stuart, Jessica, Emily, Nathaniel, Nick, Sebastian, Hazel, Henry, Oliver; great grandchildren, Ryan, Riley and Malachi. Friends may call at THE SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 4341 N High St,. Monday from 3-5 and 6-8 pm, where funeral service will be held Tuesday 11 am. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
