Andrew David Bowman, 25, passed away on June 17, 2025, in Newark, Ohio. Born on May 23, 2000, Andrew brought light and curiosity into the world from an early age.
Andrew faced life with courage and resilience, bravely enduring a long battle with a seizure disorder. Despite his health challenges, he remained deeply engaged with the world around him. He had a profound appreciation for nature and animals and was fascinated by rocks, crystals, and gems. His love for music was evident in his passion for guitars, and he found wonder in the stars through his interest in astronomy. Andrew also held a deep respect for the Bible and Christianity.
He is lovingly remembered by his father, Brian Bowman; mother, Nicole Bush; brother, Jeavin Holman; aunts Sarah (Brandon) Meuse, Lea (Kyle) Smith and Danielle Bush; uncle Matthew Bowman, Joseph (Mary) Stewart; grandparents Jeffery (Debra) Bowman, Amanda Ryan (Grady), and Dave Bush; great-grandfather Jack Grady.
Andrew is lovingly remembered by many family members including: Barbara (Geoffery) Ridenour, Jacqueline Cullison, Mary Modesitt, Sonya Grady, Joseph Bowman, Joseph Cullison, Monty Grady, Ethan Strohacker, Adelyn Meuse, Josh (Jen) Duston, Jesse and Austin Modesitt, Cheyenne Stewart, Trevor Zigaceek, Cameron and Kailyn Smith, Frederick Johnson, Carissa Cyrah and Christopher and Cylee Anderson, Amariana, Scarlett Duston and many more.
Andrew was preceded in death by his great-grandparents William (Carol) Bowman, Quentin (Mavis) Cullison and Rosalie Grady.
A celebration of life to honor Andrew’s life will be held in the future. Andrew’s memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
