Andrew “Andy” P. Fritz, age 52, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 29, 2025.
Andy was a remarkably talented and energetic individual who excelled in everything he pursued. He found joy in cooking—best known for his exceptional fried chicken, as well as fishing, hunting, and painting. He proudly held the family record for the largest buck, a point of pride he often shared. Andy cherished time spent with the children, engaging in board games, sports and outdoor activities, and creating lasting memories, including the legendary BB-gun battle fondly remembered by all.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents Jack D. and Shirley A. (Morgan) Fritz.
Andy is survived by four children Jesian (Griffin) Fritz, Destiny (Kenny) Fritz, Shane Fritz and Andrew Fritz, six grandchildren, Kaylynn, Autumn, Philip, Baleigh, Isla, and Camden, seven siblings, Tony Fritz, Jeff Fritz, Pati Fritz, Jack Fritz, Bryan Fritz, Margi Fritz, and Bobby Fritz, and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of life will be held on December 20th, 2025 at Jefferson Twp Senior Center Lucasville, Ohio at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Andy’s name to: Ohio Addiction Recovery Center.
