Ann Gabriel Mills

Ann Gabriel Borgarding Mills, age 66, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 4, 2026, at Centerburg Pointe Nursing Facility due to kidney failure.

Ann was born on October 18, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Catherine “Cathy” Redden and Joseph “Jay” Borgarding. She was raised alongside her siblings Regina “Gina” Satterthwaite, Nick Borgarding, Monica Motil, Paul Borgarding, Curt Borgarding, Wayne Redden, and Neal Redden.

She graduated from Mt. Healthy High School and continued her education at Ohio Dominican College, where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and French. She later attended Mt. Carmel School of Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse. Ann dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital. On September 24, 1994, in Columbus, Ohio, Ann married Brian L. Mills.

Ann is survived by her spouse, Brian L. Mills of Columbus, Ohio; her children, Catherine J. Mills “Cati” of Columbus, Ohio, and Brian Q. Mills “Quinn” of Columbus, Ohio; her stepfather, Virgil Redden of Cincinnati, Ohio; and her siblings: Regina “Gina” and Chip Satterthwaite of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Nick Borgarding of Mesa, Arizona; Monica and Joe Motil of Columbus, Ohio; Paul Borgarding of Cincinnati, Ohio; Curt Borgarding of Cincinnati, Ohio; Wayne Redden of Mesa, Arizona; and Neil Redden of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Eric T. Borgarding who passed on February 7, 2020, and her parents, Catherine “Cathy” Redden and Joseph “Jay” Borgarding.

A memorial service will be held on March 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Clintonville Chapel, 4341 N High St, Columbus, Ohio 43214, officiated by Reverend Tim Birie. Interment will take place at Sunbury Memorial Park in Sunbury, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Clintonville Chapel. For more information, please call (614) 262-2600.
