Anna Bell Malone

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Anna Bell Malone, who peacefully departed this life on June 27, 2026, at the age of 89.

Anna Bell was born on May 9, 1937, and lived a life filled with love, resilience, and devotion to her family. Anna leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Anna Bell was preceded in death by her mother Geneva Harlan; her father, Manning Harlan; her sisters, Mary Jane Madison and Irene Watson, brothers Manning Harlan Jr. and Raleigh Harlin Sr. granddaughter, Christina Jones; and her grandson, Carl (Harris Hester); and Tony Johnson, Tahvon Ford.

Anna Bell is lovingly survived by her sister, Francis Galloway; her children, Frank Hester, Lawanna Hester, Deborah Holloway, Carl Hester, and Rebecca Ford (Stuff) (Eddie Ford).

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Yolanda Hester, (Anthony Johnson Big Tone) Clarence Hester, Danielle Price (Kendrick Price), Thomas Hester, Carla Clark (Deshawn Clark), Tamika Hester, and Carl (Bink) Hester Jr, Jeanette Crenshaw, Ricardo Richardson, Sierra Hester Morton, Tavon Hester, Travon Hester, Taionna Johnson, Jonthan McBride, Brice Miller, Grace McBride, Armanii McBride, Keyana Anderson, Deshawn Clark, Erica Atuah, Daylon Jones, Dayisha Jones, Iran Jones, Marques Hester, Taylor Hester, Thomas Hester Jr., Christina Hester, Sierra Hester, Coty Hester, Davion Smith, Davionia Smith, Dayshawna Ford, Demarion Cunningham, Donivin Cunningham, Damiya Belle-Jones, Demair Belle-Jones, Denise Jones, Sophia Johnson, Toni Johnson, Kariah Hester, Tae’vion Hester, Kyrin Hester, Ja’nia Jones, Carla Hester, Carlina Hester, Mona Harris along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Anna Bell’s love, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched countless lives. Anna Bell will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
