Bernhard Shook

Bernhard (Bernie) J. Shook (65) of Newark, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. He served in the U.S Army. He was born on July 30, 1956, to the late Floyd O. Shook & Elisabeth A. Shook (Versal). Bernie loved fishing, camping, Ohio State Football, his country, and most of all his family. He would never turn down a moment to hang out with his kids. He is survived by his loving companion Jackie Pat Collins and Children. Amanda (Donald) Park, Jamie (Jerry) Dempsey, Rachel (Randy Lawrence) Nethers, Rusty (Tiffany) Shook, Peggy (Stephen) Lake. Stepchildren Brian (Marlene) Stadler, Janet Stadler, Robert Stevens & Leslie Collins. 25 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren. Brothers Franklin (Vivien) Shook & Thomas Shook. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Jennie (Lorz) Shook, Brother Robert Shook & stepson Teddy Collins. Celebration of Life will be at Dillon Dam on July 16th at 2p.
