Bernice "Ms B" King Bowman age 57, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday October 27, 2025 peacefully at home.
She was born June 12, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio to Paul D. Williams and Lelia King, both parents proceeded her in death.
She was a graduate of Northland High School in 1986 and received her Business Associate Degree from Columbus State Community College. Bernice also attended the Columbus Police Academy Cadet Program. She was a member of St John Baptist Church at 1045 St Clair Ave. At St John Baptist Church she sang in the choir and volunteered to work missionary services in the community.
Bernice was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin and friend who loved eating her White Castles, Cabbage and Pig Feet with Hot Sauce. She enjoyed riding her scooter all over Columbus. She would make everyone smile, you couldn't help but to smile with her two little dimples that would brighten your day.
Bernice was proceeded in death by her daughter Lelia King and her husband Frederick Bowman.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son Marquis "Bandanna" (Naquelle) Dale, 2 sisters Cynthia R. Sanford and Brenda (Redel) K. Williams Norman. 3 brothers, Paul (Estella) D. Williams, Greg (Norma) W. King and David (Chanel) A. King. 6 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, a special niece Liasha (Andre), a special friend Tiffany Williams, a special granddaughter ZaKiyah and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
