Betty Louise Imber

On Monday, July 17, 2023, Betty Louise Imber, loving mother of five daughters, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, entered heaven peacefully with her daughter by her side at the age of 91.  Betty was born on July 28, 1931 in Columbus Grove, Ohio to Agnes and William VanDemark.  On March 24, 1951, Betty married the love of her life, Carroll Dean Imber. They were married for 70 years.  Above all, Betty always put her family first, celebrating every life event big or small.  She was always there for her loved ones and shared her wisdom, strength, and courage to anyone that needed it.  Her unconditional love for her family was her greatest pride and joy.  Betty was preceded in heaven by her parents, Bill and Agnes VanDemark, husband, Dean Imber, sister, Margene Freund, daughter, Carol Imber, and grandsons Joshua Pickney and Kristopher Goodwin.  She is survived by her brother James VanDemark, daughters Sharon (Charles) Fischer, Linda (Larry) Goodwin, Diana (Walt) Reed, Nicole Pickney; and grandsons: Austin Goodwin, Dr. Tyler Reed, USN, and Justin Imber; great-grandchildren: Jacob Pickney, Alawna Goodwin and Lennise Goodwin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 11:00am at Resurrection Cemetery
