Billie Jo (Allard) Hazelette, age 59, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on January 7, 2026. She was born on August 15, 1966.
Billie was a woman of strength whose life journey included seasons of distance as well as moments of deep reconnection. Though circumstances led her to believe at times that she was alone, she was never without love. In her final chapter, she was surrounded by the care, presence, and unwavering support of those who loved her deeply.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Rick Hazelette; her mother, Sheila Allard; her sister, Betty Stewart (Frank); as well as a step daughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Allard, and her sister, Bobbie J. Allard.
Billie dedicated 15 years of service to Pitt Ohio. Outside of work, Billie found freedom and joy on her motorcycle. She loved the open road, and especially treasured traveling to Daytona Beach Bike Week, where she embraced the camaraderie, energy, and spirit of the ride.
Those who knew Billie will remember her resilience, her perseverance, and the love that ultimately surrounded her when it mattered most. She was cared for, she was not forgotten, and she was deeply loved.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
