Boyce Blakenship Jr., age 43, born May 3,1977 in Cleveland, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Boyce preferred to be called by his nickname Buddy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and car shows, but his true hobby was couponing. He would clip coupons to get the very best deals, and he even had his own Facebook group to share his coupon finds and help others learn to coupon. Boyce donated a lot of items to the local APL, food bank, schools, helped a lot of elderly neighbors with getting the essentials, and a lot of mothers get diapers due to his couponing. Last year he donated 2 car loads of toys to Share Your Christmas, so children would have a gift. Boyce had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He worked at Champion Ford in Erie, Pennsylvania before his illness.
He is survived by his mother Caroline Blankenship of Cleveland, his daughter Hayley Blankenship of Fredericktown, son Kyle Blankenship of Ashtabula, daughters Ashley and Amanda Blankenship both of Ashtabula, and stepson Tyler Benson also of Ashtabula. Boyce also has several step-brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his father Boyce Sr. and sister Nancy Brown also from Ashtabula. Boyce will be going to Shaw-Davis funeral home for cremation. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
