Brenda Elaine Whaley

Brenda Elaine Whaley, Sunrise June 16, 1954 and Sunset February 17, 2024. Born to the parents of Betty Maxine Felton and Willis Whaley Jr. She is proceeded in death by both parents, Son Claibourne Whaley, Brothers: Delmar Felton and Robert Harshaw, and Sisters: Avis Whaley and Wanda Bryant. 

She is survived by Husband John McGinniss, Son Delmar Whaley, Daughter Princess Whaley, Sisters: Vanessa (Charles) Scales and Renelle Busy, Brothers: James (Kelly) Perry and James Thompson, and Daughter in Law Rhoneeca Cox. Brenda also leaves behind 6 grandkids and 1 great grandkid, a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

Brenda was a loving soul who enjoyed watching her soap operas and old television shows. Brenda was a people person as she was very fun to be around. She had an infectious smile and a heart made of gold, which was bigger than her small frame that she carried. Brenda had a smile that was very infectious and laugh that made you feel comfortable being around her. Brenda's personality was warm and fuzzy as was her presence. She was the type of person that would go out of her way to help someone in need. Of course being human she had her flaws, but her goodness outweighed it all. That little person we all knew as Brenda Elaine and a few other nicknames given by friends and family will definitely be missed as we carry her legacy on.
