Brian Henry Wilkey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Henry Wilkey, who left this earth on January 3, 2025. Born April 21, 1960, in Zanesville, Ohio, Brian grew up with a passion for drawing and fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Colleen Wilkey, Sr. and sister, Teresa Wilkey Allen. He is survived by his 3 siblings: JoAnn Dunlop (Harold) of Jacksonville, NC; Joe Wilkey II (Carole) of Cambridge, OH; and Carolyn Wilkey of Raleigh, NC. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and his extended family, Russell Houck, Harold Tyson, and their families.

Brian had a creative spirit and loved to help others. Though his path was difficult at times, he was a person who deeply cared for others. Let us remember “B-Dub” by extending compassion and by cherishing every moment with our loved ones. 

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
