Brooklyn NyRee Stewart, 28, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on April 10, 2026, leaving behind a love that will never fade and a spirit that will never be forgotten.
Brooklyn was a young woman full of life, light, and undeniable spirit. She carried a spark that couldn’t be contained—bold, free, and deeply felt. She spoke her mind, loved with her whole heart, and lived each day in her own way. There was something about her energy that made the world feel a little brighter just by her being in it.
To know Brooklyn was to feel her presence. She had a way of making people laugh, of turning small moments into memories, and of reminding those around her to live a little more freely. She was real, unfiltered, and beautifully herself—and that’s exactly what made her so unforgettable.
Though her time here was far too short, the life she lived was full of love. More than anything, Brooklyn loved her children. They were her heart, her reason, and her greatest joy. The love she poured into them will continue to grow and live on through them always.
She is survived by her cherished children Bre’el, BreyDen, and Braxton; her loving parents, mothers Lisa and Michelle, father Brete; her siblings Curtis, Andrew, Reagan, Madisyn, Savannah, Gavin, and Elijah; Nieces and nephews Journey, Alejandro, Aydenn, Zaydenn, and Brinley; her grandmother Audrey; and a large circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold her close in their hearts. She is proceeded in death by her grandmother Pam and grandfathers Jim and George.
Brooklyn’s passing leaves a space that cannot be filled. She was taken too soon, in the midst of a life that still had so much ahead of it. But the love she gave, the joy she shared, and the spirit she carried will never be lost.
Brooklyn will be remembered as a young soul full of fire and love—a light that burned brightly and will never truly go out. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
