Carl Peterson

Carl Peterson, age 94, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Worthington Christian Village.

Retired Massy Ferguson Tractor Salesman.  During his career he held various territories in the Northeast and Midwest.  His career took them to New York, then Michigan and finally settling in Columbus, OH. 

This was his career job following his service in the army.  Post retirement he worked part-time for Bath Fitters.  Carl also held membership in the Mason’s.  He had been a Mason for over 60 years. 

Carl also participated with “On My Own,” a group for special need adults which his daughter was a part.  Carl has been a member in the Christian Church since childhood.  The Peterson’s were faithful in serving in the Christian Church everywhere they lived. 

Carl was a member at Beechwold Christian Church where before moving to Worthington Christian Village he served as an Usher.  Carl had many wonderful memories of their participation in the “Friendship Class,” the “Bright-siders” and “King’s Treasures”. 

Carl was proceeded in death by his wife, Pat, and leaves behind their only daughter, Cheryl.  Thank you to the staff at Worthington Christian Village and the Suncrest Hospice for caring so well for Carl.  To be absent from this earthly body is to be present with the Lord and in that we who remain rejoice.
