Carol Sue Thomas

Carol Sue Thomas, age 71, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 3, 1954, in Columbus, where she spent her life rooted in family, friendship, and the simple joys she cherished most.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Goldie Thomas and her beloved children, Jeremiah and Tammy, as well as the father of her children, Thomas Ewing.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her son, Tom (Alice); her grandchildren, Destini, Tommi, and Cody Peer; Tammy’s children, Cody (Jen), Rylie (Duwayne), Great Grandchild Ramiah; and Jesse Akers. She also leaves behind Granddaughter Olivia and her three sons Jeremiah, Zachariah, and Jaziah. Longtime partner, Mike Dalton, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Carol had a special love for her many cats and a fondness for owls, which brought her comfort and joy. She adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. She enjoyed music, cooking, and caring for her plants, and she especially loved gathering with family.

Known for her honesty and strong spirit, Carol was never afraid to speak her mind. Her authenticity and straightforward nature were a defining part of who she was, and those who knew her appreciated her for it.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on April 19, 2026. Location and details will be shared with close friends and family.

Carol’s love, strength, and presence will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
