Carolene Marie Adams

Carolene Marie Adams, 62, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. Born on June 18, 1963 in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the 5th of 6 children born to the late James Sr. & Ruth M. Adams. She graduated from Mifflin High School. She worked for LifeCare Alliance. She loved dancing, binge watching NCIS, loud jewelry and being a mom. Carolene will be remembered for playing her favorite music and dancing in the mirror and the unmistakable sound of her bracelets as she moved around the house.

She is survived by son, Delvon L. Adams & Michael Siobvan Adams; granddaughter, Angel Marie Adams-Hampton; siblings, Mae Lorraine (Keith) McCauley, Gordon (Cheryl) Adams and Steven Adams as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by mother, Ruth M. Adams; father, James Adams Sr.; brothers, James Adams Jr. and David Adams; Aunt Carolyn Moss; cousin, Fredreca Ford.

Visiting hours to pay respects will be held at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 4341 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43214, on April 23rd between 4pm-6pm.
