Carolyn Jean Harrison Williams, age 65, Saturday April 18, 2015 at The James Cancer Hospital with her family by her side. Preceded in death by father, Samuel F. Harrison. Survived by mother, Blanche S. Harrison; husband, Paul Williams; daughter, Sara Williams (Jesse Gravlin) mother to her beloved granddaughter Samantha Rose Gravlin and son, Harrison Williams; brother Samuel F. (Michele) Harrison, Jr.; sister-in-law, Judi (David) Huff; nieces, Jennifer Harrison (Sovann Sy), Kate (Amanda) Harrison, Kaci Huff; great-nephews, Gabriel Harrison and Oliver Stecker. Jean was an extraordinary woman, emanating a kind brilliance and illuminating the lives of all who had the pleasure to meet her. Adoring wife, loving mother, devoted daughter, caring sister, fierce protector and steadfast advocate for others only begin to describe her. An example of unconditional love, she always had room in her heart and her home.  Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, moving to Ohio, New Hampshire and Connecticut before returning to Powell, Ohio where she and her husband retired. A ’67 graduate of Worthington High School and student at The Ohio State University. Before retirement, Jean was employed throughout her career in medical offices serving doctors of a variety of specialties and was an active volunteer for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). She will be missed every day. The family will celebrate her life privately.   Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Jean.
