Carre Hawkinson

Carre Lynn Hawkinson, 74, formerly of Springfield, passed away January 29, 2026. She was born in Dayton on July 21, 1951, to the late Marjorie (Kent) and Alex Hendrix. Carre had lived in Dublin for the past eight years.

She enjoyed being busy by thrifting, shopping, and exploring the area she lived. She was regularly working on a variety of crafting projects, such as crocheting or sewing, or adding to her various collections.

She was predeceased by: her husband, Allan Hawkinson. She is survived by: her children Keren Gilpatrick, Mark Hawkinson, Abigail (Steve) Fryar, Martha (James) Hawkinson-Michau, Luke Hawkinson, Rachel (Alex) Nelson, and Abraham Hawkinson; and her grandchildren Cambrie, Ashley, and Soren.

Memorials may be made to the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.
