Clarice Walker was born July 21, 1936, in Molena, Georgia to the union of John and Gushion Love. She entered into eternity on August 1, 2026.
Clarice was united in marriage to Herbert Walker, Jr. on July 3, 1955. To them were born 4 children. She dedicated most of her life as a housewife and mother, taking care of her family. In her later years, she worked at Van Dyne Crotty where she retired as a uniform seamstress.
She served as a deaconess and faithful choir member at Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Good Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church and Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, in Columbus, Ohio.
In August 2000, she relocated with her husband to Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she also served as a deaconess and choir member at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Upon moving back to Columbus, Ohio in 2016, she became a member of Resurrection Power C.O.G.I.C and her final membership was at Rock City Church (Whitehall location).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Walker, Jr., her sisters, Johnnie Mae Harden, Carrie B. Davis, Mary Francis Love Chaney-Boyd and brother Booker T. Love.
She is survived by all her children: Gale Walker Warren, Barbara Vertell Jones, Randolph Scott Walker (Angela) and Andy Bruce Walker (Dee).
She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, known as "ALL DA BUGZ": Aaron Scott Walker, Quitley Tanisha Warren, Vincent Brown, Jr. (Kelsey), Kyla Michelle Walker, Ciara Monet Walker, Kirstie Nicole Wilson (Joel), Brianna Larine Walker, Katlyn Andrea Walker and Caleb Michael Andrew Walker. She was blessed to have 10 great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish the memories of her best friends Otha Robinson and Leonia Hunt and a host of other family, friends and associates,
She never forgot about the Lord and was always praising and worshipping Him. The Lord honored her desire to live until she was 90 years old.
