Clyde Steven Delong

Clyde Stephen DeLong Jr. passed away on July 9, 2025 after sudden illness.
Clyde was born July 22,1954 to Clyde and Dorothy DeLong. Clyde was a 1973 Hilliard High School Graduate.
Clyde enlisted in the army in 1973. After leaving the army in 1976 he worked for several truck stops in the Columbus area as a mechanic.
In 1980 he moved to Cape Coral Fla. Clyde worked as a custom cabinet installer in Ft. Myers Fla. Then moved on to restoring classic cars and trucks in Tampa. Clyde returned to Columbus in 1994. He was a bartender at Cue Styxs. Clyde was very artistic person. He loved drawing and painting. He had a loved for woodworking Clyde loved to go camping and panning for gold. Clyde retired from working to take care of his mother in her last years of life. Clyde was proceeded in death by his mother Dorothy Kyle on June 20, 2025.
Clyde is survived by his father Clyde S. DeLong Sr of Keene New Hampshire, his brother Christopher S. Delong and his wife Aimee and nephews Jackson and Landon DeLong of Keene, New Hampshire
His sister Jackie DeLong of Marysville and niece Kit Watson ,and nephews Kevin and Kyle Baily.
