Connie Fetters

September 26, 1932 — August 18, 2021

Connie Lee Fetters, born September 26,1932, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 18, 2021.  She was surrounded by all of her children and grandchildren who had the privilege of singing one of her favorite hymns as she was ushered into heaven.

Connie was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and was a graduate of North High School.  She had been a long time member of Karl Road Baptist Church and then a member of Genoa Baptist Church for over 20 years.  She served in her Sunday school class and kitchen crew as long as she was able and she loved every minute of it!

She is survived by daughters Cheryl (Michael) Johnston of Galena, OH, Lorie McCaughan of Columbus, OH, Eva Cataland of Oceanside,CA, son David (Lisa) Fetters of Marysville, OH, step-daughter& best friend Donna Powell of Sparta, OH, brother, John Boyer of Yuba  City, CA, sisters Sue Beale of Flat Rock, MI, and Sherry Tizzano of Nashville, TN, grandchildren Tara (Robert) Giuliani of Galena, OH, Shannon (Brent) Stinson of Gallatin, TN, Meagan (George) Lantz of Westerville, OH,  Raquel (Bryan) Berkett of Goleta, CA, Sofia Jordan of Columbus, OH, Miranda (Caleb) Levée of Ft. Worth, TX, Michael Beckerat of Nevada City, CA, Maria Cataland of Columbus, OH, Eleni Cataland of Los Angeles, CA, and step-granddaughters, Whitney Morris of Marysville, OH and Gabby Burchett of Los Angeles,  CA, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward ‘Whitey’ Fetters, grandson, Clark McCaughan, father, Herman ‘Jim’ Boyer and mother, Geraldine (Taylor) Boyer.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday August 24th from 4 until 7pm, with a brief service beginning at 6:30 pm, at Shaw Davis Funeral Home , 4341 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214.
