Constance “Connie” Marie Wycuff born November 23, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio, lived in Columbus , Ohio and passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the age of 81 in Grove City, Ohio.
Connie was a devoted mother and best friend to her daughter Deborah Powers Piccione. Connie was very loyal to family and friends. She was a nurturer by nature and naturalist at heart. Connie spent a lot of time in nature and loved all living things including the many birds she rescued and raised, including a rescued chicken named Tilly Lilly. She was one with nature and seemed to have a deeper curiosity and understanding once making special friends with an opossum who visited her regularly, and having conversations with even the most seemingly minuscule creatures like spiders and praying mantis. She was a caregiver to her mother Marie Mendieta, husband Charlie Wycuff, and best friend Cathy Lawyer. Connie had many talents being artistic and crafty once having built a doll house for her granddaughter Alicia Piccione. She earned her GED and worked her way from a clerical worker to a position as a Crime victims advocate with the Attorney General all on her merit as a person with incredible people skills and integrity. She was a force to be reckoned with and a woman to look up to. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
Connie was proceeded in death by her parents Marie and Joe Mendietta, Homer Brooks, Brother Donnie, husband Charles Wycuff, and best friend Della “Cathy” Lawyer. Survived by her sister, Diane Tsai (Andre), and brother Ben Brooks (Audrey), her daughter Debbie Piccione, grandchildren Alicia (Jay) and Brandon Piccione, nieces and nephews and many great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
