Crista L Griffin

Crista Louise Griffin at the age of 22 earned her wings on March 9, 2024. Crista was born June 6, 2001 along side her twin sister Corianna Diane Griffin.

Crista is survived by her loving parents Juneen Griffin and Wardell Link Jr.; siblings Corianna Griffin, Wardell Link Ill, and Demira Link; aunt Cynthia Griffin, grandfather Caffrey Griffin; great grandparents Shirley Griffin, Landon Scott; aunt Michelle McBride, uncle Marshall McBride; cousins Zaria McBride and Akil McBride.

We We're Blessed.

At the tender age of 3 months, Crista was diagnosed with a neurological disease. From that moment, she had undergone multiple surgeries during her lifetime. Through the adversity Crista faced, she remained strong and was one of the strongest individuals a person may meet. She was always filled with joy and laughter. Her spirit was angelic and pure.

Crista had many nicknames her family called her from Crista Boo when she was younger to her Papa calling her "road dog." She was always the only person to stay up with her Papa when he drove for family trips. She did not allow the challenges of life stop her from being adventurous.

Crista's grandmother, Cynthia started our annual family Christmas Drive to donate gift bags to children and their families who will spend the Christmas Holiday at Children Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House. This has become a family and friends tradition to spread love, joy, and honor Crista and families coping with similar situations. 

This is not goodbye to our sweet Crista as she transitions into her next journey. Until we see you again.
