Daniel S. Lettvin

Daniel S. Lettvin, Age 67, was born on January 14th, 1958 in Chicago Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025.

He is survived by his son, Benjamin Lettvin, sister and brother, Eve and Charles Lettvin, and was a devoted son of the late Norman and Roslyn Lettvin.

Daniel received his B.S. in Biology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois, and went on to complete his internship and residency in psychiatry at The Ohio State University. He practiced and lived his adult life in Columbus and Chillicothe, Ohio. He will be remembered by his kind disposition and his desire to help those in need. He was a lover of nature and a carer for animals. In his final days, he was still known as "doctor". May his gentle soul rest in peace.
