David Flowers
September 29, 1923 — October 13, 2019
David M. Flowers was born September 29, 1923 in Belmont County, Barnesville, Ohio. He passed away at the age 96, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Worthington Christian Village.
David joined the Army in January 1943, and trained at Brook General Hospital, Fort Sam Houston Texas as a medic. Served in European Theater operation, discharged in April 1946. He then joined the Army Reserves and retired October 1978.
He worked at the Railway Mail Service and U.S. Post Office and retired in October 1978.
Preceded in death by his son Dennis L. Flowers. He is survived by his wife Virginia E. Henderson, children Stephanie A. Blaser, David (Fernando) Flowers III and Rebecca S. Flowers; grandchildren Kari (John) Holloway, Kyle (Leane) Matson and Lori (Glen) Flowers; great grandchildren; Zachary, Jacob, Sam, Anna, Isla, Garrette, Nathan and John.
