David Roach

David Roach, born September 8th, 1962, passed away suddenly on March 2, 2023. He was born in Newark Ohio to the late Wilva and Robert Roach. He is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as his brothers Donald (Jacqueline), John, and William. 

As well as his parents, David was preceded in death by his brothers Robert, Ernest, Warren, and his sister Wilva. 

Although David never married he was a friend to many. He was active in the church and loved to do volunteer work, especially when it included cooking. He was a part of the Lions Club for many years and enjoyed serving the community. He worked as a cook in many restaurants throughout the years, including the Barn on York when it was first built, which remained one of his favorite jobs. 

A majority of his time was spent with his nieces/nephews. He loved to spend time with them and teach them new things. It was unusual to see him without one of the great nieces/nephews. He has touched the lives of so many people throughout the years and will truly be missed. 

Memorial services will be held on March 19th at 2:00 PM at The Kirkersville Methodist Church.
