Deborah Susan (Rohrer) Shuster, age 69 of Delaware, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 6, 2023 at Riverside Hospital after a heroic struggle with an extended illness. Born on January 22, 1953 in Canton, Ohio to the late Donald Henry Cockrell Rohrer and Evelyn Mae Rohrer, she graduated from Glenwood High School and earned an associate degree in medical office management from the University of Akron.
In addition to her work as a medical office manager Deborah enjoyed serving in children’s and youth ministries at church and at Worthington Christian Schools. Her entire life was one of service to her Lord and Savior.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles David Shuster, Sr.; three children Sarah Ruth (Thomas) Williams, Rachel Marie Shuster, Charles David (Jessica) Shuster, Jr.; six grandchildren Thomas Jr., Henry, and Evelyn Williams and Charles III, Loralei, and Samuel Shuster, Sister Maureen Rohrer Sabaka, Brothers Daniel (Janet) Rohrer and Paul (Debra) Rohrer, Sister-in-law Cheri Rohrer and 21 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Deborah is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Becca and Keith Wiebe and brother Donald (Cheri) Rohrer.
A celebration of life service is planned for Deborah at noon on Saturday January, 21, 2023 at Genoa Baptist Church located at 7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville, OH 43082. Friends of the family may pay their respects prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
