Donald Worthington Waldrop

Donald Worthington Waldrop, 79, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born on February 27, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kim Carpenter Waldrop; his sons, Donnie Waldrop and Nelson Waldrop; his daughter, Michelle Germany; his grandson, Robert Germany; his parents; several brothers; and his only sister.

He is lovingly remembered by his son, Nicholas Waldrop; his daughter, Donna Niemela; and his brothers, Kenneth Waldrop and Larry Waldrop. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Donald will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the lasting impact he had on those who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

A visitation will take place at the Shaw-Davis Short North Chapel, 34 West 2nd Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43201, on Tuesday August 4th, 2026 from 5pm - 7pm.
