Edward "Ed" Morley, 61, of Galloway, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 31st ,2021, following a heart attack and stroke complicated by Covid-19. Ed was born 08/15/1960 in Tampa, Fl. His adoptive parents, Elmer and Doris Morley brought him home to Monroeville, PA and raised him there. Ed graduated from Gateway high school where he was very active and earned letter from the golf team, sang in two choirs, and performed in the musical.
He worked for Wendy's as a general Manager for several years...and also managed for Blockbuster Video. He was most recently employed at Volunteers of America. Ed lived for his family and volunteered as a coach and administrator for Westland Youth sports league for many years. He was passionate about coaching baseball and was loved by the parents and the kids he coached. He served as an umpire for many years. He was active in local golf, dart, and pool leagues, and always made his teammates laugh with his quick wit.
Ed is survived by his wife, Janet Morley, children, Leanna Morley (Joey Keaton), Ryan Morley (Melissa Morley), grandchildren, Kennedy Morley and Beckett Morley, brother, Joseph Sirois, sister-in-law Vickie Adamski (DJ, Sara, Lileth, Wyatt) and brother-in-law Don Grashel (Corey, Christopher).
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Susan Sirois, In laws Don and Marge Grashel and nephew, John Adamski.
Celebration of Life reception will be at Grove City United Methodist Church on Saturday November 20th, 1-3pm (2650 Columbus St. Grove City, OH 43123).
