Edward Kenneth Renshler

Edward Kenneth Renshler, age 87, passed away on April 26, 2026, at Paramount Senior Living in Westerville, OH, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 7, 1939, in Findlay, Ohio, son of the late E. Karl and Anna (Karg) Renshler.

Ken was a graduate of Capital University and continued his education at The Ohio State University, where he earned a Master’s degree in Music Education. He dedicated 30 years to teaching music, primarily in the Worthington City School District. Ken had a deep love for music and community, often spending time at his Florida home where he enjoyed cheering on friends at local softball fields and playing the ukulele and other instruments in community bands.

He is survived by Margaret (Mulligan/Styborski) Renshler, his wife of 36 years; children Kevin (Megan) Renshler of Bloomington, IN, Kara Graham of Monroe, OH, and Kristin (Matt) Vicelja of San Juan Capistrano, CA; stepsons Stephen Styborski of Dublin, OH, and Keith Styborski of Columbus, OH; and two sisters, Bonnie Everett of Sylvania, OH, and Judy Rife of Temperance, MI.

Ken was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Justin, Zachary (Sarah), and McKenzie (Kole) Graham; Luke and Stella Vicelja; and Abigail and Benjamin Renshler; as well as step-grandsons Alex (Elise) Styborski and Joe Styborski. Five great-grandchildren and many other friends and family will miss him dearly.
