Edward Thurkettle

Edward F. Thurkettle (76) passed away June 10, 2021 in Westerville Ohio, following 16 months (through the pandemic) in hospitals and rehab/skilled care facilities for cancer and circulatory complications. Edward was preceded in death by his father, Frank Thurkettle, mother, Rosemary Thurkettle, brothers Frank Jr. and Richard Neal.  He is survived by his son, Jason Edward Thurkettle, granddaughter, Jessica Zhu, sister, Deborah McQuade, brother Ronald Thurkettle, nieces, and nephews.  Edward worked at University Hospitals of Cleveland and started BayCare Services, a multi-hospital support service system, in Florida. In his later years he provided supportive care for his brother (Frank), mother, sister, and mother-in-law.  Gratitude is expressed to the Capitol City Hospice. A graveside commitment service will be held July 23, 2:30 PM at the Dayton National Cemetery.
