Elizabeth Ann (Trout) Bullock

Elizabeth “Liz” Bullock was born with a joyful spirit and a generous heart that touched everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Trout; her beloved son, Michael Brooks Trout; her brother, Bob Trout; her nephew, John Paul Postlewaite; and her father- and mother-in-law, Oris and Betty Bullock.

Liz is survived by her devoted husband and the love of her life, Raymond C. Bullock, and her cherished son, Robert (Bobby) Bullock. She is also survived by her sister Christine (Trout) Hudson of The Villages, FL; brother John (Janis) Postlewaite of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters-in-law Deloris (Bullock) Petru and Denise (Bullock) Wright, both of Westerville, OH; and many nieces and nephews who adored her: Kenneth R. Leesburg, Melisa (Missy) Hothem, Andrea (Trout) Allen, Kelsie Postlewaite-Pinkerton, Julie Mergen, Todd Wright, John Wright, Suzanne Pietro, and Phillip Petru.

She was also blessed with great-nieces and nephews who brought her so much joy: Travis Hothem, Macie Hothem, Robby Allen, Ashley Allen, Hyden Allen, and Dustin Huntley.

Liz had countless friends who meant the world to her, too many to name, but all deeply treasured. She shared a special bond with Paul Horne and Jodi Dawson, and she held her beloved Woodsfield Gang (Laura, Dawn, and Regina) especially close to her heart. Together, they created a lifetime of memories and adventures that will continue through their enduring “traveling tradition.”

Liz retired from the State of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, where she dedicated her career to helping others. Outside of work, she lived life with enthusiasm, laughter, and love. She was a devoted wife, a caring mother, and a loyal friend. Her free spirit, humor, and zest for life will forever be remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Liz’s beautiful life and legacy.
