Gayla Lynn Seeds

Gayla Lynn Seeds, age 72 years, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, after a prolonged illness. She was born on April 10, 1953, in Colorado Springs, CO, to parents Richard T. Seeds and Doris M. Seeds.

Gayla is a 1971 graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School.

Gayla is survived by her children - Eric Wingler, Nicole Fox, Richard Watrus, Gary Watrus and Robert Watrus, along with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Richard T. Seeds, II and her sister Marla McGhee. She was preceded in death by both parents and her brother Robert Seeds.

When she was healthy, Gayla loved playing golf and bowling. She was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Per Gayla's wishes, there will not be any services. She will be buried in her family plot in Salem, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association in her memory.
