Gerald Frank Mudd

Gerald Frank "Jerry" Mudd, age 74, of Columbus, Ohio passed away October 16, 2025 at Riverside Hospital. Born January 22,1951 to Gerald and Sarah.

He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Mae in 2016, daughter Drema Lyn Muud in 2014; siblings Robert Fleming, Richard Fleming and Susan Kern and niece Tiffany Cade.

He is survived by his children Gerald Lee (Brianna) Mudd, Teri Luann Lemaster (Jason - deceased), Sheri Leann Peters (Chris); grandchildren: Dezarae Lyn Wigal, Sarah Elizabeth Wigal; siblings (in order of date of birth): Kenneth Mudd, Steven Mudd; numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, and in-laws

Jerry graduated from Columbus North High School in 1968. Dad was a proud member of the United States Marines Corps and Vietnam Veteran. Employed as a Maintenance Manager at various rental properties, Operations Manager of George Thomas Contractor, Inc., and retired as President of Restorit Cleaning Specialists.

Dad enjoyed watching Ohio State football / basketball, Cincinnati Bengals and Reds games. Dad was a skilled woodturner and loved spending time in his workshop creating beautiful bowls, plates, and other wood items.

Dad loved spending time with family and friends and especially playing card games like "Mess up your Neighbor" with his kids and granddaughters. He loved fishing and playing cards with his son, his brothers, Ken and Steve, son-in-law Jay, nephews Bryan, Henry, Dusty, and Eric, grandnephews Jacob and Maverick, and family friend Dusty Green. He loved playing euchre and talking "smack" with the people at 2 Tones on Wednesdays. It was a highlight of his week.

Dad was a fun-loving man with a heart of gold. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed it as much as he could. He will be sorely missed. Love you dad.

A private service will be held for family and close friends.
