Giselle Bafei Bitakwawea, 53, passed away in Columbus, Ohio on January 25th, 2023 at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Giselle was born to Gaspar and Asibi Tchanpkama Bafei in Lome, Togo on September 12, 1969. She was certified as a Sewing Fashionista and was a dedicated Jehovah Witness.
Giselle is survived by her ex-husband Akibou Iddrisou; Children Faurice Kezire, Fayshel Kezire, and Faad Kezire; Grandchildren Faurice Kezire Jr. and Evelynn Dyer; Siblings Koinzy Bafei, Landry Bafei, and Sourouwe Bafei; Nieces and nephews Anita ablah Sessie and Omar Adamou.
