Glendall L. Smith

Glendall L. Smith, born on July 11, 1938 in Pennsboro, WV, peacefully left this life, at his home in Hilliard, Ohio, on May 24, 2025, surrounded by family. 

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the hearts of many. 

Glendall enjoyed playing his guitar, going to church, where, when his health was better, was able to play in the band, and hanging out with his family and friends. 

Glendall was a beloved husband and best friend to Barbara A Smith (Ross), for over 61 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Smith, his three daughters; Lisa Hess, Glenda Brendus and Kathy Farley, his sisters Annabell Hart and Nellie Lamp. Glendall left behind four granddaughters; Brittney Green, Auna Brendus, Michelle and Courtney Farley. He also had three great-grandchildren; Eli Green, Raegan and Ripley Smith. 

In his last remaining days, Glendall was not alone. His dog, Callie, 14 years old, was always under his bed, if not on it, providing companionship until the end.
