Grace Thomas

Grace Marie Thomas peacefully passed away at her home on December 4, 2020. She was 85 years old.  Grace was born in Lancaster, Ohio on December 23, 1934 to the late Granville Earl and Dorothy Thelma (McGonagle) Bowman. Grace was a beloved mother and grandmother to her three children and three grandchildren.  She leaves behind her daughter Sharon Thomas of Guysville, Ohio, two sons Doug Thomas (Julie Martin Thomas)  and Todd Thomas of Newark, Ohio and three grandchildren; Hallie Thomas, Patrick Martin and Camden Thomas, longtime family friends Bart Macdonald and Kyle Wimer, several nieces and nephews, and family dog Jack.   In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her brother, Donald E. Bowman and her sister Marguerite Edly.

Grace loved being a mother and grandmother, loved to bake, work in her yard and spend time visiting with her neighbors.

No visitation or services are to be held at the request of Grace.

The family greatly appreciates the care she received from Heartland Hospice and the support of her friends and family. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made to Heartland Hospice or the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Dr. SW, Heath, Ohio, 43056.
