Harold Dean Hampton, age 85, departed this life on July 7, 2022. He was born on April 9, 1937 to Floyd Hampton and Naomi Beatrice (Miller)Hampton. He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Esther Marie Levally Hampton. Harold, best known as "Bud," worked for many years as Parts Department Manager in numerous General Motors dealerships. He was proud to be a Marine Corps Veteran, and a 32 degree Mason Shriner for 50 years. His three sons are Timmy F. Hampton; Alan Dean Hampton; and John Parker (Tricia) Hampton. His six grandchildren are Justin Thomas Hampton; John Joseph Hampton; Megan Marie (Derrick) Skaggs; Samuel Dean Hampton; Ryan Parker (Michela) Hampton; and Sara Ann (Allen) Wright. His four great grandchildren are Ethan Parker Hampton; Hannah Renee Wright; Logan Allen Wright; and Mason Lee Hampton. His five siblings are Doris June Arnold (deceased); Larry Hampton (deceased); Roger Hampton; Phyllis Jahn; and Nancy Breckenridge. In lieu of flowers, Harold requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
