Helen "HB" Belle was born on October 14,1965, in Columbus, Ohio, to William Belle Jr. and Alice Belle. She was the second of five children and grew up in Urbancrest, Ohio. Helen attended Grove City High School and later earned her GED from Rinton Technical Institute in 1982. In her youth, she joyfully shared her voice as a singer with Union Baptist Church.
Helen was best known for her giving spirit and selflessness. She had a heart for helping others, often stepping in before anyone even had to ask.
