Helen Cynthia Greeno

Helen Cynthia Greeno (Cindy), 67, of Circleville passed away January 20, 2026 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 27, 1958 in Fort Knox Kentucky. Born to Lawrence “Jim” and Caroline Greeno, she spent a lot of her childhood traveling the world as an army brat.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Caroline, granddaughter Makayla and daughter-in-law Barbara Fowler.

She is survived by her 4 children and 1 very special step-daughter, Joni Fowler Lowry of Circleville, Madria (Chad) Lynn of Springfield, Melissa “Wissy” Fowler of Circleville, Melinda “Linny” Fowler of Circleville, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Fowler of Circleville and also a special friend who she loved like a daughter, Moe Gill. Her grandchildren, Quentin, Raven, C.J., Riley (Carolyn), Trevor, Christopher, Jeffrey, Brenda and Caroline. Great grandchildren, Lyric, Legend and Lily. She is also survived by her siblings, brother Bud (Joanna) Greeno of Clarksburg, and sisters Eileen Greeno of Lancaster and Rose (Tim) Lowery of Circleville. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

She was known to everyone as Cindy but her favorite people called her Nan or Nanny.

Cindy enjoyed road trips, her favorite being travelling to Canada to visit family in Nova Scotia. She also enjoyed a secret love affair with Elvis Presley, who for many years we were told was our father. She, even now, I’m sure is still hunting for him. She enjoyed evenings at the casino and also playing bingo.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to our aunt Karen Walker for being with our mom in her final hours, it meant the world to us that she wasn’t alone.

There will be no funeral service at this time, cremation has taken place at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on February 7th, 2026 at CFC Fellowship Hall – 436 East Ohio St. Circleville Ohio at 2:00pm, where friends and family are invited to share memories and honor her.
