Horatio "Ray" Edmonds

July 6, 1974 — June 25, 2023

Our beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend Horatio “Ray” Edmonds passed away June 25th, 2023 at the young age of 48 in his residence in Columbus, Ohio. He was a loving son and faithful father who was dedicated to his children and family. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him knew this about him. Horatio was employed as a private security guard for many local events around the city. He enjoyed watching Football and Basketball and of course The Ohio State Buckeyes was his team. But most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his mother and his children. 

Horatio is survived by Mother Delores (Sammy) Mann, His Children Miracle Edmonds, Rae’Niyah Edmonds, Godson Prince Horatio Davis, Goddaughters Crystal, Diamond, Sapphire, Desta-ni. His sister Salina (Lamont) Edmonds, brother Gerard (Marquisa) Edmonds, Stepbrother Steven Mann, Stepsisters Karen (Mark) Ross and Rose (Stephen) Warren, Uncles William (Josie) Conley Jr. and David (Abi) Conley. Beloved cousins Meecko, Shatte Conley, Jelani, Gyasi, Armani, Tyreek, NyJayah, Shaynna, Jeffond, Janari, and Jazabella. Nieces Jamyah, Dishaia, Eunisa, Tiara, and Janiqua. Nephews Tamarco, Antionn, Joelle, Jordae, Mykeal, Jazmeer, and LaKhyi. Great Nieces Harmony, Katara, My’Elle. A host of other relatives and lifelong friends including the Mother of his beloved children Sparkle Davis, Mothers of his God Children Kathy Horton and Sherri Minor, Kevin “KB” Brown, Calvin “Cal” Berry, Lamonte Mathis, J Rock, Curt, Antione Cooper, Marvin, Keyona, Tara Doss, Quinton Franklin, Marcus Reese, Quincy, Ms. Welthia, Stefon Walker, Rosalyn Walker, Mark Brown, AJ, Tiffany, Nicole, Jordan, and Leanne.

Horatio is preceded in death by Grandmother Reba M Conley, Father Earl Edmonds Sr., Aunt Reba Conley Jr., Brother Earl Edmonds III, Cousin Nyomi Conley, and Nephew Euryean Alridge.
