Irene T. Brown

Irene T. Brown, age 78, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Born on March 27, 1948, in Washington, D.C., Irene was the beloved daughter of Ernest O. Brown Sr. and Irene Washington (Lee). She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. She will be remembered for her quick sense of humor, and the love she showed to those around her. Irene had a gift for making others laugh and brought joy to family, friends, and everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Irene is survived by her children Robert E. Brown (Paula), Patricia A. Allen, and Juanita I. "KimMe" Sheppard (Jason); her siblings Marcia Kent, and Michael Brown (Janice); her nieces and nephews Andrea Dennis, Sherrell Dennis, Earl Brown (Shrree), Darrell Simmons, Inetta Best (Ernest), Yolanda Hayes (Kaliph), Tyona Greene, Michael Brown (Tiffany), Lenwood Harried, Marcus Brown, Manuel Brown, Malcom Brown, Kevin Brown, Timothy Mullins, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Ernest and Irene, her siblings Ernest Brown Jr., Lorraine Sookram, Marcella Dennis, Arvel Denise Brown, and Ramona Brown.
