Irene Kaeding

Mrs Irene Ann Kaeding, the daughter of the late Louis and May Pelletier of New York City, born October 16, 1928 in Manhattan NYC.  She grew up in The Bronx, NYC, baptized, confirmed, and married at the First Lutheran Church of Throgs Neck; schooled at PS 14, Christopher Columbus High School and was graduated from Hunter College in Manhattan, NYC in 1950.  After graduation she was employed by Merrill Lynch Insurance Company in Manhattan, NYC and on May 31, 1952 married Hugo C. Kaeding.  In 1971 she received her Masters degree from the University of Illinois.  Taught grade school in Illinois and Missouri for over 13 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hugo and survived by: her four children:   Susan and husband Gary Tweet of Chicago, IL, Christopher and wife Christine of Columbus, OH, Konrad and wife Julie of Wilmington DE, and Sabrina and husband Nelson Law of Columbus, OH;  ten grandchildren:   Marit Tweet, Emily Kaeding, John Kaeding (Alysse), Amelia Kaeding (Dan Myers), Thomas Kaeding, Madeline Eoppolo (Marc), Mary Grace Kaeding, Dylan Law, Conner Law and Jaden Law; 2 great grandchildren:  Benjamin Myers and Colton Kaeding and her sister Doris married to Frank Siekmann of Kutztown, PA.

Irene has been an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Asheville, NC since 1995 and request no flowers, instead any memorials be given to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 51 Wilburn Place, Asheville, NC 28806
