James Alan Francis

James " JIMDOG" Alan Francis, born in Columbus, Ohio on October 29th, 1959. He passed away peacefully at his home in Grove City on May 16th, 2026. He was 66 years old. He was the son of Berman E. and Betty Carletta (Tucker) Francis who preceded him. Survived by loving wife, Melanie Cutlip of 40 years. His pride and joy, his son, Kasey Alan Francis. Brother, Charles (Lisa) Francis of Columbus- sister, Tina (Paul) Beekman of Big Plain, Ohio- sister n law & brother n laws, Chrissy & Jimmy Wymer of Grove City- Brian & Christine Cutlip of Columbus.Survived by lots of nieces and nephews & cousins & tons of friends. Also preceded in death was mother & father n law - Dave & Cookie Cutlip & brother n law- Bruce Cutlip. Host of special aunts and uncles who preceded him as well. Also preceded in death was Grandparents Pearl & Clara Tucker, Gilbert & Monnea Francis.

Family always came first to Jimdog. He had the biggest heart and loved everyone. He was an avid Cleveland Browns & Michigan Wolverines (his 1 flaw) & NASCAR fan as well. Loved spending time with family, fishing, camping and playing cards. He was a retired painter.

The family would like to Thank, Mt. Carmel Hospice, for their compassion loving care.
