Jerry Lee Graves, age 78, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025. Born on August 7, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio. Jerry was a proud graduate of Linden McKinley High School and attended the Columbus College of Art and Design. A skilled craftsman and dedicated professional, he was a lifelong member of Carpenters Union Local 200 and served as a building inspector for the City of Worthington. Jerry was also a Navy Seabee and was very proud of his service. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Earl Graves. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Graves; son, John (Christy) Graves; daughter, Caroline (Scott) Allen; step-children, Nikki and Chrisina Lafon; and beloved grandchildren, Daniel (Kaylin) and Nathan Graves, CJ, Mason, and Aubrey Allen, Desi, Alex, and Aiden Lafon, and Michael and Henry Puckett. He also leaves behind his cherished great-grandchildren, Lumen and Corbett Graves; his sister, Denise (Ted) Edwards; brothers, Ron (Cindi) Graves and David (Val) Graves; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A wonderful soul was shared with us, and has left a trail of cherished memories. Jerry was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him—family, friends, and colleagues alike. He was known for his generous spirit, his many talents, and his unwavering dedication to those he cared about. Jerry never hesitated to lend a helping hand, and his larger-than-life presence left a lasting impact on everyone around him. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those he touched.
